Welcome to my weblog. First of all let me introduce myself. I come from the small country Iceland, which is in the middle of the Atlantic. I've been developing software for the past 20 years and I've worked for companies like Xerox, Medtronic and Microsoft. I worked for almost 3 years at Microsoft in Redmond, where I was a Program Manager for Microsoft Repository (later renamed Microsoft SQL Server Meta Data Services) and later a Lead Program Manager working on the Digital Dashboard technology that forms the basis of the portal in Microsoft Sharepoint Server.

I left Redmond in early 2001 to move back to Iceland. There I've been doing various consultancy jobs through my own company Gridland.net. I've also taught .net development at the University of Reykjavik.

My plan is to use this weblog to post various articles, entries and thoughts about .net and related technologies.
