Yesterday, I kicked off the new content with a great seminar in Raleigh. I had a very good crowd, who asked awesome questions. I was also quite surprised by the number of people who, upon being shown attacks like cross-site scripting and SQL injection, were shocked that they had left those vulnerabilities in their own applications. One person even tried it against an instance his own site code right on his laptop! These are some of the most overlooked but easy to fix vulnerabilities out there. But, I'm looking forward (in a sad way) to gathering up these horror stories that I can share with attendees as I travel the southeast with this security content! Let's all make sure we write secure code.
