I'm doing my ASP.NET seminar for the last time next week in Richmond and Pittsburgh. Bernard Wong, who is another developer community champion based in LA, just blogged about hashing algorithms, one of the the topics we cover in the security session. We show some sample code for storing passwords in a database, using a salt for added security. (Thanks to my counterpart in the OTHER Washington, Paul Murphy.)

It's not all security, we also have some cool sample code (that you can steal!) for creating charts such as bar graphs from an ASP.NET page. That code originates in the Time Tracker application, which we review in detail.
