I was lucky enough to spend yesterday at the first day of the Devscovery conference Wintellect is running in Ballston for the next couple of days. They have some awesome speakers. My favorite session was Jeffrey Richter explaining the internals of the .NET garbage collector. I've seen several explanations of how the generational model works, but this was the first one I actually understood!

Jeffrey Richter and John Robbins will be at CapArea.NET for a special meeting tomorrow night. Jeffrey Richter has a deep understanding of .NET internals, and does a great job of conveying that understanding. John Robbins is the guru for .NET debugging. This should be an awesome meeting!

This meeting starts at 7:00 PM and will be held at Microsoft's office in Reston, VA. No need to register, just show up!
