So yes! We released the first CTP of Microsoft Expression Web Designer on Monday.

Over the past 2 days I've been receiving a couple of questions on this - weird cause I'm not a designer a all - guess devs & designers are really close after all then! :-)

So here's a compiled FAQ that should cover most of the immediate questions...

The feedback from the CTP process will not only drive the features of the product, but will also ultimately determine the launch date. We will ship when our customers tell us the product is ready.

At this time we are not releasing pricing information. Details about pricing will be announced as soon as they are available.

Will this FrontPage 2003?

Microsoft Expression Web Designer is a new product for professional Web designers, based on the evolution of FrontPage 2003 technologies, including significant new investments in cutting-edge technologies (CSS, XML, XHTML XSLT, and ASP.Net 2.0) over the past several years. It will enable professional designers to create high-quality, modern, standards-based Web sites.
