Important Web Authentication is designed for use only by sites that are not affiliated with Microsoft. If your site is associated with Microsoft, please contact the Windows Live ID team to determine the proper implementation.

The Windows Live ID Web Authentication SDK describes a platform-independent interface for implementing Windows Live ID sign-in on Web sites of all kinds. For each language there is a function library that you can use to extend the sample.

The SDK consists of the samples and libraries available on this page together with the SDK documentation. For a link to the documentation on MSDN®, see Related Resources later on this page.

Use of the SDK is governed by the Windows Live SDK License Agreement at: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb226715.aspx
