Here's my personal invitation for you to join us on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, Washington, on August 28th and 29th, for the Microsoft Healthcare Users Group Tech Forum 06.

Tech Forum '06 is your link to training, product information, networking... and a glimpse of what's around the corner with the launch of new products such as Windows Vista and Office 2007.
No matter where you are along the healthcare IT continuum, you'll find educational sessions, demonstrations of leading and future technology and more to enhance your learning.

In addition to an education track for Healthcare Providers, two new tracks have been added—Life Sciences and Health Plan—to provide you information and resources specific to each industry market segment. At Tech Forum '06, the focus is on richer content, in-depth presentations and hands-on technical training against an industry backdrop, so you'll know just how to plug your expertise into the big healthcare IT picture. It's about professionals sharing best practices between professionals.

I look forward to seeing you there.  And on, Tuesday, August 29th, at 3:45 PM, it will be my pleasure to deliver the closing session keynote reflecting on business, population, and technology trends that will profoundly impact healthcare financing, research, and the delivery of medical services: "Healthcare trends that will shake the world, and reshape your business".  Will you be ready?

Bill Crounse, MD     Healthcare Industry Director
