Exceeding Expectations: Microsoft Health Users Group Conference Event

Bill Crounse 2007 02 As you might imagine, I get a lot of e-mail from clinicians, healthcare business leaders, developers, vendors and partners from around the world.  Frequently, I’m asked, “Where can I learn more about Microsoft solutions in the health industry?” or “How can my company work more closely with Microsoft to succeed in health and healthcare”? or “How can I better understand Microsoft’s product roadmap?”  Many of these customers and partners request that I follow up with them by phone or that we have a personal meeting.  Of course with my busy speaking and travel schedule, it just isn’t possible to meet with everyone.  So how can you get your questions answered?  Where can you network with your peers and learn more about what we are doing in health and how you can partner with us?  There is no better place than the Microsoft Health Users Group.

Come join your peers at the Microsoft HUG meeting on the Microsoft Campus in Redmond, Washington. This year’s event is slated for September 2nd and 3rd.  Microsoft HUG leverages this forum to provide industry leadership, drive appropriate standards and develop associated requirements in support of healthcare solutions. The broad-based membership includes CIOs, healthcare end-users, care-givers from provider organizations, and payors; but Microsoft HUG is primarily focused on information technology professionals and developers from healthcare providers, solution providers, and ISVs. This diverse membership is unified by a shared interest in implementing vendor and user-developed software based on Microsoft technology to improve quality and efficiency in healthcare. In the end, Microsoft HUG’s ultimate mission is to provide value to members through education, communication and access to information and experts.

For more information visit the Microsoft HUG web site.  You can see the entire conference agenda here, and register for the conference, here.
