Bill Crounse 2007 04 I usually don’t use this space to promote local/regional events.  After all, HealthBlog has a worldwide audience of readers.  However, I’m making an exception because the event I want to promote takes place on home turf and it was after all on this turf that I earned my stripes in the health industry. The first decade of my career was at Virginia Mason Medical Center.  I also practiced medicine and served as an executive at Group Health and Overlake Hospital Medical Center before finding my way to Microsoft and my current role as senior director of worldwide health.

So, if you are a healthcare executive or health industry technical decision maker in the greater Pacific Northwest, please join me for a Healthcare Executive Forum next Friday at the Microsoft offices in Bellevue, Washington.  For details, see below or Click here to register for this event.

Microsoft in Healthcare Executive Forum

Microsoft’s mission in healthcare is to improve health, around the world, through software innovation.  Please join Microsoft and its Gold Certified Partner, Neudesic, at this special event where you will learn about Microsoft’s vision and strategy for the healthcare industry.  You will see firsthand examples of how health organizations are leveraging the Microsoft® platform and learn about the technologies to improve patient care, reduce costs and enhance productivity.

Bill Crounse, M.D., Microsoft Senior Director Worldwide Health, will keynote this event and discuss how Microsoft and its partners are assisting healthcare providers, health plans, and life sciences organizations in realizing their potential. Dr. Crounse will highlight a variety of solutions, including how Microsoft technologies are enabling health organizations to take a patient centric approach to enhance wellness and manage costs.

Neudesic will provide real world examples of Microsoft platform solutions that enable and help healthcare organizations address the changing regulatory landscape while managing costs and simplifying the administration burdens.  These solutions include physician and caregiver collaboration, workflow and administrative coordination, patient satisfaction, longitudinal health records and electronic health care compliancy.

We look forward to seeing you at this event.  Please click here to register as soon as possible to secure your seat and feel free to share this invitation with others in your organization that might also be interested in attending.
