It’s back!  On Tuesday, May 17th, Microsoft Health Tech Today begins a new flight of programs at the intersection of health and information technology.

We start off our new season with a look at some compelling natural user interface and mobile demos from Microsoft partner Vectorform.  Vectorform is a global design and technology firm that specializes in creating award winning digital experiences.  On our program, we take a look at some of their latest designs for healthcare.

Working with Microsoft and Sony, Vectorform has developed an impressive new way for doctors to collaborate virtually.  We also take a look at how Vectorform is using speech, touch, motion and gesture enabled technologies to help curb childhood obesity.  The same technology may one day be used by patients needing physical rehabilitation.  Finally, we’ll examine Vectorform’s brand new app for pediatricians and parents that helps monitor early childhood development.

Be sure to join us on Tuesday, May 17th, for this new program.  I hope you’ll also enjoy our updated, more contemporary set and wide-screen video format.  Between now and mid summer, we’ll launch a new Health Tech Today program every two weeks.  Help us spread the word.  Please notify your colleagues via your e-mail contacts and social networking channels.

Here is a short promo for our newest program on Microsoft Health Tech Today.
