Initially, blogging was a candidate engagement and employment branding tool. Now I am figuring out how to use blogs to connect candidates with hiring managers here. Bloggers like to be in the know and like to be connectors and when you consider that some of the Microsoft bloggers have open positions on their teams, it's all goodness.

Darryl's team deserves the credit for this one...the position wasn't even open yet when I sent Kent's resume (I can be pushy that way).
