We are planning another networking event in our Mountain View office. Here's the announcement. Feel free to contact me if you are interested!
Microsoft’s Server Platform Business Marketing Organization (BMO) is hosting an invitational networking event in our Mountain View (CA) location in early February (2006). The Server Platform BMO is responsible for marketing Microsoft’s server platform products and solutions (a $3B business!), helping our customers and partners manage security risk through our Security Mobilization Initiative and marketing to the IT Professional audience. In other words, we translate product strategies into actionable content and programs for our field sales force and our partner community. This requires a deep understanding of our customer segments and a talent for creating high impact marketing strategies that result in sales readiness, partner enablement and customer awareness. If you are up for the challenge of working with some of the sharpest minds in the industry, we may have the perfect opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for these challenging and rewarding positions (all located at our Redmond, WA headquarters):
Group Marketing Manager
Server Platform Business Manager
Security Product Manager
Segment Business Performance Manager
Technical Sales Engagement Manager
We are looking for individuals with exceptional communication, leadership and marketing skills. More importantly, you must have empathy for the customer and a passionate drive to succeed.
The invitational event will be a weeknight evening and will give you the opportunity to network with the hiring authorities that are looking to bring talented people on board right now. If you would like to be considered, please send a copy of your resume to Heather Hamilton at Heather.Hamilton@microsoft.com, by February 6th. Your resume will be reviewed by our hiring team and if we feel there’s a match, we will provide further event details.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Edit: Kevin Briody answers some of your questions about the BMO here. Thanks Kevin!
