Heather,

I am software engineer here in Seattle, I am interested in work for MS. I recently submit my resume online, but have not heard anything back yet.

I remember several years ago after I submit my resume online, I received lots of calls from MS. But I took another job becasue they offer me a good opportunity.

Is anything change at MS? I heard the rumor MS free the new hire, is that true?

Oleg,

I'd definitely encourage you to go to our international career site and apply for Germany based positions (there's a link in my blog post above). Because we have a separate database, I don't really have any insight into the roles they are working on, but I'm sure they would call you right away if there were a match.

Also, without knowing more about your background, I can't comment on whether we have any US based roles that would be a match. But I'm more than happy to share your resume with the marketing recruiters here and get your info into our system.

We do international relocations fairly regularly, but it would depend on the relocatoin budget available within the specific hiring group. So I can't say for sure that we could relocate someone internationally for any role, but we do relocate quite a bit.

Just wanted to express my deepest appreciation and ask your opinion about possibilities to join Microsoft in a marketing / business development position with a broad international scope:

1. I live in Germany and would be very interested to join Microsoft in the US in a marketing / business development position with a broad international scope.
Would Microsoft US be interested in interviewing / hiring a strong overseas candidate with a significant international experience, taking into consideration the need for Microsoft's support for relocation, work permit, etc.?

2. I wonder if there are possibilities to join Microsoft in Germany with a broad international scope, preferably across the whole of Europe or EMEA region, focusing on solutions for image processing, printing and publishing
