Jamie - good question. It's universal!

Bad_Brad, the football thing is certainly seen as a plus in the dating world. Of course, I keep dating men with cats that don't care about football. I have to stop doing that. It's rough out there!

Amen on the college football.

Every year I've lived in the Seattle area, I've loved the summer weather, but every year by early July, I'm wishing the summer away because I have the shakes from no college football.

And by the way - if I wasn't already happily married, I'd ask you to marry me. ;) It took my wife about 10 years to get used to the fact that Saturday in the fall = college football (and there's really no way around it - oh by the way, sometimes Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings in the fall also = college football). You, on the other hand, obviously get it from day one ...

Parul - yeah, the fireplace!

RB - I don't know. Do you think that's a real house that people actually live in? I doubt it. I would leave my door that color all year 'round. I love orange.

mdapsauski - it's not cliche if it's true. And yeah, there are LA things that make up for the lack of frost (In-N-Out burger, PCH, 6 hours to Vegas, etc.) :)

At the risk of sounding horribly cliche...

1.) Leaves changing color

2.) Building a fire in the fireplace after said comfort food and red wine

3.) Frost in the morning

(When you live in LA, you don't get these things. You do, however, get to watch some really great college football in person... (fight on!))

I loved "...people start leaving on vacation so you can actually get some work done"!

I have to add Seahawks, hot chocolate and being to use the fireplace.

If there was a way to keep the ice off of the roads, i would love winters too!

Joe - hmmm, yeah, I guess I'm into that too. Mostly just Survivor and The Amazing Race.

Programmerman - I agree. And my team is idle too. But I'll be hoping that the Sun Devils kick some bulldog butt.
