Just to mention that VS 2008 completely supports a non-intrusive-side-by-side installation with VS 2003. So, if you still want to evaluate while you don't take the migration path, this is a possible scenario.

 Although, don't forget that VS 2008 can also compile to 2.0 target, meaning.. that you can completely forget 2003! :)
