London Underground image on Bing UK

I pointed out the great London Underground image on Bing’s UK site today commemorating the opening of the world’s first underground railway system in London in 1863.

He asked where the photo was taken – it’s easy to find out. Just hover over the copyright symbol at the bottom right of the image for more information about any of the Bing pictures. In this case it shows that the station featured is Mornington Crescent.

  • that and it says "morning crescent" in the top left...

  • Well "N Crescent". My friend, who isn't exactly daft, didn't spot it. Although actually the main point is that for any picture you can get detail from hovering over the copyright symbol, which a number of people don't seem to realise (based on the number of people who I need to point it out to).

But fair enough in this case eagle eyes.
