IE should NOT be tied to the OS and should easily run as a stand-alone against IE7 and others, it would help it stand apart. Isn't that what you're going for? Why make this so difficult? You're Microsoft, ruler of the closed-source world. It shouldn't be hard to do this!&lt;/p&gt;
