Let me just take a moment to fan the flames…

We are currently preparing an article on aggregation and merging; expect to see it within the next 7-10 days. We'll try to suggest workarounds there.

We have the need to switch views after a successful merge, and now there doesn't seem to be any way to do it.

The Merge event does not let us change views (presumably because during the merge the ui is updating.) I even tried to hack a bit by trying to SelectText, but I can't seem to do that in any view but the current view. I can't find a way to access another view, either.

Anyway, that's a big problem for us.

Good news is that everything else I've worked with in 2007 looks great!

I know our customer would greatly appreciate having all the InfoPath features back and still have enforced text limits (and I'd like the shorter development and easier maintenance and increased usability and reliability).

Don't settle for just one: How to have multiple rows by default

Since I realize not everyone has installed the Beta yet (you can do it!), I figure it's time for a trick...

re: Got suggestions?

1. The IP Toolkit for Visual Studio seems difficult to manage in conjunction with Visual SourceSafe. We always seem to have problems with Infopath not opening forms that are under source control, and with trying to check out the project upon opening.

2. It'd be great if there were a way to have multiple IP forms part of the same project in Visual Studio, rather than having each to their own.

3. More & better documentation for that toolkit, but we won't hold our breath on that one...

re: Got suggestions?

Oh, and

3.
