Those of you who know me are well aware that movies are a big part of my life, so when I found out about this special offer from Loew's at 600 N. Michigan Avenue in Chicago, I felt I had to share this on my blog.  You can get free passes for you and one guest to Hitchcock's Psycho (October 14 showtime), Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow (October 21), and Night of the Living Dead (October 28).  Sadly for me, I'm already busy every one of those three dates, but don't let that stop you :-)  To find out more and sign up, surf to Loew's Screening Room.

These are some great classics, but not necessarily the best horror/thrillers ever.  I still think Kubrick's The Shining takes the cake as best thriller ever - what's your favorite film to watch for a good fright?

Happy Halloween,
Jacob
