At the Madison MSDN Event yesterday, after I demonstrated SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services, one fellow with a particularly bright red shirt ;-) asked about creating authorization using a custom user store instead of Windows authentication in SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services. I did a quick search this morning and found an article that addresses just that issue. If you have been seeking a means of customizing security for your SQL2k Reporting Services Reports, check out this article, complete with lots of diagrams and sample code to help you get started.
