It's good to be presenting again.  After a couple of weeks focusing on team projects and fiscal year transition, I'm going to be presenting a week of ASP.NET 1.1 webcasts centered around how to leverage the ASP.NET Starter Kits as learning tools.  I'll be starting with a session on the Time Tracker Starter Kit, so join me on Monday at 9:00 AM Pacific - you can register here.  If you can't make it, be sure to check it out on-demand 24 hours later by following the same link.

After the session, check out these resources to download the starter kit and get started learning or increasing your skills in ASP.NET:

If you make it to my live webcasts this week, let me know in LiveMeeting by submitting a "Howdy", "Hello", "Wazzup" or what-have-you via the Question and Answer Panel and tell me that you heard about it on my blog.  Also, if you came here after one of my webcasts this week, "Sign the guestbook" by submitting a comment to this post.

After blog mint (thanks, Rory) ----------------------------------------------------------------

Although I didn't mention it during the webcast, about 10 minutes into my presentation, a big honking spider decided to descend from the ceiling about 2 feet from me.  I am most definitely not a big fan of spiders, so if you are tuning in to the on-demand version of the webcast, see if you can detect when I first saw the spider (I get a bit nervous) and once it ran off to hide somewhere in my room to jump out at me later (I temporarily calmed down, but now I'm getting close to hysterics... I mean, the thing was easily 1.5 inches long from toe-to-toe and clearly had it in for me.  It probably doesn't help that I killed its cousin a few days ago and recently saw Replacement Killers - I think it may be out to get me now).
