My colleague Aaron Marten beat me to blogging about our release, but I am just as happy talking about it. In this release, we present you with the following:

• Toolbox Installer Package - this is a redistributable package designed to simply deployment for toolbox components. You can even use this MSI to deploy controls to the Express products like C# Express! Documentation on how to use it is light at the moment, but we will obviously beef up the docs in the next release.
• Help Compiler Tools - this is also known as Sandcastle. We have now integrated these tools inside the VS SDK.
• New Setup UI - with a refreshed look-and-feel, we have also addressed several issues that customers have reported around Repair and Uninstall.
• Use of VsIdeHostAdapter - updated EditorWithToolbox sample to use the VsIdeHostAdapter to show how to do integration test with this host adapter.

Of course, there are also general bug fixes and documentation updates. Another big change in this release is that we have removed the Power Toys from the SDK so that Visual Studio users who are only interested in using the Power Toys do not have to download the entire SDK. The Power Toys can be downloaded from here.
