In an interesting move - Cingular is offering customers a $2.50 refund for the inconvenience caused by the 11hr outage on the Blackberry service. 

If I were a customer I'm not sure I'd see that as an insult or an apology?

I'm also intrigued that it must cost Cingular way more than $2.50 to process these as you have to formally request it....
