Windows 8 games made by college students

Over the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some college students who are building games.  Some of the students have published games in the Windows Store.  Most games are free.  Check out the screenshots below – there are some really fun games, addictive puzzles, creative storylines, and impressive graphics.  If you run Windows 8, please download and check them out!

Knight vs. Zombies
Death Fall
Michael the Bicycle
Lost Souls
Police Run
Endzone Dash Endzone Dash
Hexabomb
Sketchy Tank
Spacequail Mini
Super Rock Paper Scissors
Suicide Golf 1.0
Egg Dropper
Ninja Shooter
PuppyJump!
Chopper Attack
Space Barrage
Screw Thy Neighbor

Many of these apps were created using Scirra’s Construct 2 tool, which is awesome for developing 2D games.  If you want to give game development a try using this tool, I recommend the beginner’s tutorial.  There are more resources at http://aka.ms/JenStudent
