Getting the CRM community to work as a team is a lot like working with a band. There are lots of parts to coordinate, people to seek out to solo, and administrivia that goes into making any community successful. Thriving is much more fun than just barely existing.
There are the standouts who answer tons of questions in the CRM newsgroups, bloggers who share their CRM tips and tricks, and CRM MVPs who speak at conferences and do all of the above.
A big round of applause should go out to the heroes of the CRM community for your demonstrated dedication and passion. Without your efforts the CRM community would not have reached such high levels of performance, so high that it is used as an example for other teams' community efforts.
