Boston Windows 8 Meetup Kickoff–October 9th

Windows 8 general availability is less than three weeks away, and with the new business opportunity comes a new community opportunity. I’m excited to announce that the Boston Windows 8 App Developers and IT Group kicks off next Tuesday, October 9th, at the new Microsoft offices at 1 Cambridge Center, Cambridge MA.

I’ve had the chance to speak with the organizer, Steve Hall, a few times over the past few weeks and he’s got some great ideas for covering the various parts of the Windows 8 ecosystem from the nuts-and-bolts of development, to the business opportunities, to monetization schemes, to the role of Windows 8 in the enterprise.
