Hey everyone!
I didn't think the day would ever come but here I am, writing a blog on MSDN.
I tried to wrangle a blog on MSDN in 2007 when I was writing my first book, for Apress. Naturally, since I didn't actually work for Microsoft, I didn't get one.
I'm very excited to be working for Microsoft now, I work in a truly great team in Redmond and I'm looking forward to providing value in many different areas of the company.
This blog is all about the code. It's for more abstract coding topics perhaps than my other blog on Technet (http://blogs.technet.com/jimw) which is focused on the 'real world' application of code.
I've got plenty of topics lined up for future posts including some of my favorites such as Parallel Processing in .NET, coding for Windows Phone 7, XNA Game programming and all sorts of other good stuff.
It's great to be connecting with you all in the development community.
