Eventually (in the release build, version 2.0) it seems that there is no way to do licensing in a standard .NET way for Silverlight controls (i.e. no license provider support)? I need to ask, how was the feedback from this survey used? Or am I wrong?
The main reason I got this data from the community as well as from contacting Control Developers directly was that I was helping to build a case for doing the licensing work.
That said, schedule and resource realities do come into play and we had to make a call in the best interest of the overall product.
