Steve Smith a good buddy, SharePoint MVP and chap from the UK has recently finshed a whitepaper on configuring email enabled lists and all the configuration on the server side. Very COOL! There are a couple of gotchas, so it's great to have this level of detail in an easy to use doc. I mean, imagine your users leveraging WSS or SharePoint server to create contact objects in AD through delegation to email enable their lists.
He also has a couple of other whitepapers he's working on including In place upgrade, and data on modifying the site directory. He also has classes on upgrade.
