Three New SharePoint Solution Accelerator Programs

Today a new solution accelerator beta was just announced for the availability of some new MOM Packs for System Center Ops Mgr 2007. Here's the 3 new solutions with detail. If interested follow the links below and apply to be notified when the bits and updates are available.

Looking at the comments I verified that the links to a the ones other than asset inventory are 404s. I know they had people signing up, but no code was yet posted for those. These other programs do expect to have code and share with those that are interested. I'll try to send an update when beta code is available.

SharePoint Asset Inventory Toolkit– Beta Announcement - "This solution accelerator contains assessment an tool for discovering the presence and use of WSS and MOSS sites in the network environment." This is a discovery type tool based on the Vista Assessment tool. It will find various SharePoint deployments via a few different ways and help you inventory the web apps and sites. It's something that can be scheduled and uses SQL Reporting Services for reports. (Beta bits planned for September)
SharePoint Capacity Planning Tool Beta Announcement - "This program previews a new Solution Accelerator for SharePoint Enterprise capacity planning. This solution accelerator contains two new models for WSS and MOSS on Windows 2003 for System Center Capacity Planner (SCCP)." There is an executive overview of the solution in a PPT. This program will leverage the System Center Capacity Planner framework to help customers better design hardware and server toplogies for SharePoint Intranet and Internet deployments. (Beta bits are planned for September)
SharePoint Manageability Toolkit– Beta Announcement - "This solution accelerator includes a new set of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 (Ops Manager), Management Packs for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, and for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007." These are new management packs with new functionality designed for SCOM 2007. You'll find more information about the manageability toolkit on the SharePoint blog on this. (Beta bits available soon)
