I understand my RSS subscribers may take this hard. I couldn't find it anywhere else, and my pleas to get it elsewhere have gone unanswered so far. Rather than keep you waiting, I figured it's better to have it somewhere than nowhere. It will end up on TechNet soon.

If you're troubleshooting and trying to find a list of WSS errors that get logged to the event viewer you've found the place. I've posted the MOSS 2007 Events as well. This WSS reference will apply to not only WSS 3.0 only deployments, but also MOSS 2007, Project Server 2007, Performance Point 2007 events and logs.
If you want this in a word doc, you can get the SharePoint Monitoring toolkit and then download the file called "SharePoint Management Pack Guides.zip" which include both 2003 and 2007 formats of the content posted here. I personally couldn't handle not having this online, so if no one else likes it, it's for me :) There is much more online. Is it just me or is there often a preference to see this type of content on a web page vs. a word doc where it comes up clearly at the top of search results?

I don't see a link to the file in question. Also, has this file been updated to keep up with the service packs over the past year or so? Just curious.
