I read a recent article comparing the cost of paper versus electronic versions. What caught my attention was the cost of ink – 469% more than the cost of blood! The article went on to mention an ingeniously simple way to reduce printing costs.
Switching to a thinner print line such as from Arial to Century Gothic, can save 30% ink!
Also mentioned was a a new font called ecofont which is available free and can save 25% on ink costs – so when applied to Century Gothic you get even great savings.
The font uses tiny circles placed in the characters to cut down on ink costs. Basically swiss cheese font!
Free for home use.
Simple solutions that save costs and lower environmental impact. Nice!
