I’m Joe Pamer, a developer on the F# team. My interests mainly have to do with compilers and programming languages, so spending the last two years helping out with the F# compiler has been a wonderful experience. Before joining the F# team I worked on a few production and research compilers, and spent some time in grad school researching compiler implementation techniques and DSLs for program transformation. (Oh, and somewhat related, I worked on Word for Mac for a few years, too :))
If it’s not already obvious, I plan on blogging mostly about F#, with a particular emphasis on our compiler and its implementation. I hope you enjoy learning about F# as much as I do working on it!
