One of the most exciting and frustrating parts of any job is that people become successful and move on to new and different jobs. My buddy Dave, who had the office next to me, has left the team. This is a good team for Testers. Because the Windows SDK team is small - only 25 people - nobody gets lost in the crowd. Our good work is recognized by the other members of the team. Because we're so small, too, we have a very inclusive work environment. The team likes to hang out together in general, and there's a nice positive spirit to this team. In fact, it's that positive spirit that makes me enjoy coming to work everyday. And if you're an XBox player or watch Battlestar Galactica, you'll feel instantly like part of the team.
