Fifty-year-old Michael Lekara Wayid, Nigeria's consul in the Czech Republic, was shot dead by an unidentified 72-year-old Czech at the Nigerian Embassy in Prague on Wednesday.

It is difficult to believe that so many people fall for this scam, but it is even harder to believe that someone would murder another person mentioned in an email.  Why would you not check the source out before sending someone your bank account information?  How hard is it to search the internet to find numerous web sites debunking the scam?
