The Visual Basic team is launching a series of Webcasts called "Live from Redmond". This series will focus on features in the next version of Visual Basic code named "Orcas".  The first two Webcasts in the series are listed below.

John Stallo starts the series with Live From Redmond: VB9 – Orcas Overview on April 24 at 9 a.m. John will demo how all the features such as LinQ, N-Tier, WCF support, and OCS work together to help you build your applications faster than ever before.  Sign up for John's Webcast.

Kit George will present Live from Redmond: VB9 - LinQ Overview on April 25 at 9 a.m.  Kit will show how to take advantage of LinQ to build applications that query and aggregate data from multiple sources, including in-memory objects, databases, and XML. Sign up for Kit's Webcast.

If you are unable to attend all of the Live from Redmond webcasts, you can view them (and other Visual Basic webcasts) on demand.
