The Visual Studio Content team has created a new content type called Video How Tos. The Video How Tos enable you to watch videos that correspond to written how-to and walkthrough topics in the Visual Studio 2008 documentation. The documentation and Video How Tos are linked together so that you can easily go from the topic to the video and from the video to the steps and code.

The first set of videos is available now in the Video How Tos node of the MSDN Library. More videos will be added during the monthly documentation updates, so if you have requests for subject areas let us know.

Please give us your feedback when you watch a video so that we can continue to produce the type of videos you want to see. The videos are only available online, in the MSDN Library, but you can download them to your computer or portable media player if you want to watch them off-line. We’ll continue to add new videos, and I plan to feature individual Video How Tos on this blog.
