The Expression team has announced Service Pack 2 for Expression Encoder 4. With this Service pack you get over 300 bug fixes and some new features:

  • Encoding features like support for 1 and 2-pass VBR for offline H.264 encodes, support for more AAC audio options (Pro only), ...
  • Live features such as Live crop, Support for Live H.264 VBR 1-pass, ...
  • No more screen capture 10-minute limit, template improvements, new SDK samples, including a thumbnail generator and more

Note there are two versions of Expression Encoder, a free one and a Pro one. Some of the features are only applicable to the Pro version.
