I recently posted a blog entry called
Satellite views of Microsoft and more from Google Maps
. While Google Maps is cool for getting driving maps and directions online, I found that
Microsoft TerraServer
map images have many times more up close detail in some of the photo images it provides. Here is a link to
satellite view of Crossroads Mall
in Bellevue, WA which I had linked to with
Google Maps
, for comparison. Click on the + to zoom all the way in to see detail so up close you can see the colors of cars on the road at the time. Refer to the
