Sorry for those who haven't downloaded or otherwise acquired/installed Office 2003 "System" yet. I just had to rave about one of the features that was just enabled internally (but may be available elsewhere). While normally I love Outlook Web Access, Outlook 2003 enables RPC over HTTP. Translation, you can now connect to your Exchange servers across the Internet, without having to VPN in, from Outlook itself! For those of us who "enjoy" the machinations of our overly ept Security group (log in three times to see your Inbox please, and forget your security card at home because you needed it to log in), this is a godsend!

Now, I can get all the capabilities of Outlook (oh, look, caching finally works), without having to connect to the network! And soon, so shall the world!
