Well, I'm not there right now, but I hear that there was only one false start. Someone was a bit too eager, and forgot to attach the floppy power cable. It's a bit ugly looking right now, but the drive is formatted, and XP is now being installed.


So, my recommendation if you want to avoid these problems are to have a floppy handy. I'm still behind my choice to 'go floppiless', as I think it's time to move past them. The SATA issue is a temporary, and easily worked around (assuming you know Duncan) situation.
