One of the features I'm really looking forward to ASP.NET 2.0 for is Master Pages. They make creating consistent Web pages easy. However, if you're like me, you have no design skills, and really need a professional designer to "lay things out" for you. Brian is looking for your ideas on what the ASP.NET team should be providing here. Please take the time to let him know what you think.
FWIW, here are my thoughts - most pages can fit into one of a few major designs, and at least one of each would be nice. My needs would include 3 column (narrow/wide/narrow), 2 column (narrow/wide and wide/narrow), header/main area/footer, and probably a few others I'm missing right now. One important addition: I've seen too many Master Page layouts using tables. I don't want these layouts to use tables (it's bad form these days), but instead to use CSS. Oh, and the colour themes idea is a great one as well (please also with CSS)
