We’re just a couple months away from the Microsoft Partner Network changeover.  In May, some of the programs like Empower for ISVs phase out and the new subscriptions like the Action Pack for Development & Design phase in.  We’ll move from Registered/Certified/Gold Certified levels to Competencies.  You can learn about the upcoming changes here.

On a related note, I’m registered for our annual Worldwide Partner Conference.  This conference is usually out of the price range of early stage startups, but if you’ve got product and are looking to leverage Microsoft channel partners, the structured networking is phenomenal.  I usually catch the keynotes and spend most of my time in “speed dating mode”, meeting with as many partners as possible.  If you attend, I’d welcome connecting via the networking tool.
