I was starting to stress out that I hadn't gotten to the Henry Art Gallery to see the James Turrell exhibit, which was slated to close on October 5th. I have a busy weekend ahead of me, and I didn't know how I was going to fit it in, but also didn't want to miss it. When I checked the site last night, I found out that it's been extended through February 2004. What a relief! From everything I've read and heard, the installation is amazing. There's a special twilight viewing tonight at the new permanent Turrell installation -- I can't make it but I am going to try to make it to the Sunrise viewing in December.
