Sharepoint Alerts are pretty cool. One of my challenges is managing all of my potential inputs... email, voicemail, wiki, rss feeds, and internal Sharepoint sites, to mention just a few. ( And that's just at work.) By setting Sharepoint Alerts for the libraries that contain documents I'm interested in, I can receive a daily summary of changes and target my browsing to what's important to me. Very efficient. Sharepoint (and WSS) has really shaped up!
