A received a few questions about expiry of the AX2009 Demo VMs. Here is a quick summary that you can use to manage which version you use.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Demonstration Toolkit – Released June 2008
These images will expire in June 2009, they are physically time bombed to expire. The AX license will also expire in June 2009.
Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Demonstration Toolkit – Refresh 1– Released February 2009
These images will expire at the end of 2010. They are physically time bombed to expire. The AX license will expire in June 2009.
We are working on Refresh 2 of the AX 2009 VMs which is planned for June 2009. See post here.
As a side note the AX4.0 SP2 VMs expire in April 2009. The demand for updating these is low considering we have released AX 2009 for over a year now so we don’t plan at this stage on posting an updated AX4.0 VM.
