I saw this note on an internal thread and thought the folks in the partner community could benefit from this. It is a link to a top that the virtualization team posted a while ago but still helpful

Having said that if you are using VPC2007 start getting ready to use Hyper-V. I’ve posted some notes on using Hyper-V in the blog but I’ll post some more notes in time. For my demos I’ve converted Hyper-V. We’ll be shipping a couple of updates to the AX2009 Demo VMs soon and we’ll post these in both VPC version. Once we get to AX6.0 Demo VMs the best experience will be under Hyper-V so take the next year to get ready for using Hyper-V.

Cheers

Lachlan
