Summary

On 27 Feb 2007, Microsoft DPE team ran a half day event to educate the industry on the latest Microsoft Enterprise Application Development Platform. This included .Net framework 3.0 (Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows CardSpace), Visual Studio Team System and most importantly the integration between Windows CardSpace and Digital Online Registration and Identification System (DORIS) for 2 factor authentication. The objective of this event is to showcase Microsoft latest technologies as well as to provide the best practices on DORIS (2nd factor token authentication) integration with Windows CardSpace to the public and private sectors. DORIS is a USB form-factor manifestation of SmartVIP smart card technology. This is MHA’s approach to create an open architecture and extensible Personal Security System, i.e. DORIS that is in line with the Intelligent Nation 2015 vision.
