About Senior Project Manager - Linda Chong

A dynamic and meticulous professional who has more than 13 years of extensive IT experience on management, consulting, evangelism, architecture design/review, pre-sales engagement and systems integration in the areas of SOA, Web 2.0, e-business/e-commerce and enterprise application integration (EAI). In my current role, my portfolio at Microsoft Consulting Services includes project management and presales engagement, focusing primarily on application development opportunities and engagements such as .NET consulting, solution architecture, SOA, SQL Server/BizTalk/SharePoint consulting, etc. My previous role in Microsoft was the Architect Evangelist. In the Architect Evangelist role, I played the lead role from Microsoft in driving thought leadership and platform adoption in SOA, Software+Services, Web 2.0 and other emerging technologies to enterprise customers and partners on the Microsoft platform. I also represented Microsoft in SiTF SOA Chapter as a member of the executive committee team to drive the adoption of SOA in conjunction with IDA. Prior to Microsoft, I was working with IBM Consulting Services. Back in my consulting days, I worked on mega projects that span the entire SDLC from conducting requirement/assessment study, mapping of client’s business processes/requirements to IT solutions, solutioning, macro/micro design to deployment. I had led a team of more than 60 people (including enterprise customers under my leadership) in delivering mainframe migration projects.
