The Azure Services Platform developer contest, new CloudApp(), is now open to international participants.

new CloudApp() is a developer challenge (Contest Site) that promotes the new opportunities and innovative ideas developers are creating with cloud computing on the Azure Services Platform.

The deadline for submissions is Thursday, July 9^th. For the contest outside the United States, one overall community winner will be chosen by public voting and announced on Tuesday, July 21^st.

• June 1: International contest opens
• July 9:  International submission deadline (12:00 PM PT)
• July 10:  International Community voting starts
• July 20:  International Community voting ends
• July 21:  International Community winner announced

• Featured in a video interview on Channel 9 with the application author
• International Community winner: US$2,500 VISA gift card
